She worked at various businesses in Russell, including the Russell Lumberyard, Jim's Hamburger Stand, and the Russell Daily News. Ruth is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren. , who lives in Lorraine, KS with his wife Donna. Later, she married Bill Moyer, and they have a son, Bill Moyer Jr. She was married to Ernie Reissig, and they have a daughter, Mervis Reissig, who lives in Redondo Beach, CA. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and especially enjoyed spending time and taking care of her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and watching NFL Football and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. She also work hard as a homemaker taking care of her family. She worked for many years at the Russell County Hospital as a cook. From this union Irene and Paul were blessed with 5 children Lester, Becky, Roy, Eddie and Paul. Paul Satchell on April 28, 1950, in Russell, Kansas. She met, fell in love and was united in marriage to E. She grew up in Bunker Hill and attended Bunker Hill Schools and lived there and Russell, Kansas, most all her life. Irene was born on July 15, 1925, in Bunker Hill, Kansas, the daughter of David J. Russell, KS 67665 78 Natoma, KS 67651 78 Irene Emma Satchell, 98, of Russell, Kansas, and former Bunker Hill, Kansas, resident died on Thursday, September 07, 2023, at the Wheatland Nursing Center in Russell. ![]()
